Primary goal is to make sure our software is free from errors, bugs, and other issues that could affect its functionality and usability for our clients.
Main responsibilities of a Quality Assurance Specialist include:
Implementing test plans and test cases.
Identifying and reporting software defects.
Collaborating with developers to fix issues.
Partner with support team to understand client issues and document problems.
Work closely with support, project managers, sales, and developers to ensure our software meets defined business requirements and aligns with the overall project goals.
The Quality Assurance Specialist role may also be involved in the design and development of quality assurance processes.
They are expected to stay up to date with the latest software testing methodologies and technologies and to continuously improve their skills and knowledge to ensure the highest levels of software quality.
Daily responsibilities that a Software Quality Assurance Specialist may have:
Review and analyze issue tickets to ensure precise and clear expectations, behaviors, and issues with the software prior to sending to developers.
Execute manual and automated tests to verify the software's behavior Identify, document, and report software defects/issues using bug tracking tools.
Participate in agile development processes, such as daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings as needed.
Maintain software documentation for both internal and external clients on software fixes, new features, or new offerings.

Internal guides:
How to configure modules, expected module behavior, limitations of each module discovered during the development process.
External guides:
FAQs, how-to guides, short video overviews Creating and maintaining automation initiative.
Communicate release notes and follow up to front facing clients after a release Skills and Requirements:
Knowledge of software development processes, programming languages, and operating systems.
They should also have experience with software testing tools and techniques.
High level of attention to detail to report on all issues and defects in software products, including pixel perfect issues.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to quickly and efficiently identify patterns and trends in software defects and to determine the root cause of issues via strong analytical skills.
Effective time management skills.
Demonstrate the ability to work effectively as part of a team or on your own.
Ability to motivate and inspire team members in the pursuit of quality and provide constructive feedback to all stakeholders.
Knowledge of software testing tools a plus.
Project Management skills/knowledge a plus.
Knowledge of Visual Studio and Gherkin writing a plus but not required.
Attention to detail a must.
