Chemical Sales Manager

Our client is seeking a Chemical Sales Manager who under general supervision, manages sales activities including supervision of contracts, direct sales, customer relations, vendor relations, and related financial performance. Supervises customer service representatives, product specialists and sales engineers, monitors sales in relation to goals. Prepares and delivers sales materials; and attends promotional opportunities.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manages sales efforts, including activities of sales, negotiation and sales functions, and monitoring of contracts in line with division goals and priorities.
Supervises chemical staff personnel, which includes recommendations for hiring, firing, performance evaluation, training, work allocation, and problem resolution.
Work with VP Chemical Division to formulate chemical division plans, policies and priorities which best meet corporate goals and priorities.
Obtain direction from Company, CEO and General Manager regarding corporate direction and priorities.
Analyzes and appraises the effectiveness of sales, methods, costs, and results; approves literature content.
Assist in the annual planning process.
Responds to inquiries; researches and resolves problems related to transactions handled by the department: serves as liaison with other departments in the resolution of day-to-day administrative and operational issues.
Sells to and maintains contact with major accounts; promotes positive relations with retailers, wholesalers, vendors and other distributors.
Develops and supervises the preparation, issuance, and delivery of sales materials, promotion programs, and literature development.
Maintains Quality Assurance/Quality Control records.
Supervises all pesticide documentation and compliance (SERC, HazMat, etc.)
Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's degree in a related Administrative, Business, Liberal Arts, or Social Sciences Discipline or equivalent experience. 3 to 5 years experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
