National Sales Rep

Under general supervision, manages sales activities including solicitation of potential home plant and commercial distributors, direct sales, customer relations, and related distributor performance.
Monitors establishment of new distributors in relation to goals.
Prepares and delivers sales materials; and attends promotional opportunities.
DUTIES AND Responsibilities:
Initiates sales efforts, including activities of sales, negotiation and sales functions.
Develops and supervises the preparation, issuance, and delivery of sales materials and promotion programs.
Sells to and maintains contact with distributors; promotes positive relations with potential distributors and current distributors.
Analyzes and appraises the effectiveness of sales, methods, costs, and results; reviews and approves literature content.
Responds to inquiries and researches and resolves problems related to transactions handled by the department; serves as liaison with other departments in the resolution of day-to-day administrative and operational issues.
Prepares weekly call reports showing calls for the week.
Participates in the development of department goals and objectives; recommends, implements, and administers policies and procedures to enhance operations.
Assists in the annual planning process.
Maintains and updates customer account files and customer lists.
Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
