Chief Medical Officer

Job Summary: The Chief Medical Officer will work with the Senior Leadership Team to help direct, coordinate and evaluate the clinical operations of the system to ensure safe and quality patient care, fiscal responsibility, operational efficiency and integrity, and the provision of comprehensive health services. Supports the organization#s mission, vision and values while making them operationally viable. Will ensure the organization#s clinical objectives and policies are articulated and executed, leading the development and implementation of long term strategy while developing and assuring organizational accountabilities. Serves as a liaison and Advocate between the Medical Staff and Administration, working closely with both groups to ensure clinical functions maintain a high quality of medicine and clinical outcomes that Fisher-Titus patients have become accustomed to. Education/Experience/KSA#s: MD or DO from an accredited medical school Licensure to practice medicine in the State of Ohio and hospital credentials/privileges at respective hospital location(s) Master#s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration or a closely related field preferred At least 3 years of clinical practice, with a reputation as an excellent physician Demonstrable leadership role and achievement in a complex healthcare delivery system Experience as a VPMA, CMO, Clinical Chair, Medical Director, or the equivalent would greatly enhance candidacy Experience in business management to include fiscal accountability and budgeting Physician Leadership experience required with a track record of success in implementing operational, administrative, and medical management principles with a focus on quality initiatives Demonstrable experience in data management applications, medical informatics, utilization of electronic medical record, and other related information technologies Essential Functions: Leads Quality and Safety management efforts and improvements by working with Clinical leaders to ensure high quality metrics and consistent program evaluation. Plays key leadership role in partnering with and directing Clinical service line leaders, medical directors, employed, community and contracted providers on service line development to ensure growth in volume, quality and value.# Actively collaborates with Human Resources and others on provider recruitment and retention activities. Involved with developing strategies for maintaining provider hospital relations and serves as a provider advocate for both employed and community-based provider partners. Serves as or designates physician lead for management and oversight of Advance Practice Providers. Serves as or designates physician champion for patient experience and partners with the Quality # Clinical Resource Management Department on patient experience initiatives. Serves as the physician lead for management, oversight and execution of clinical quality, safety and accreditation initiatives, clinical service line operations, care management and utilization review activities, medical directorships and the Medical Staff office. Acts as the physician lead and primarily liaison for Provider education efforts, including education # training of all providers across the organization. Initiates Provider involvement in organizational key performance indicators by enacting improvement plans, peer review, and counseling/coaching as needed. Advises on clinical and financial operations while ensuring connection to the organization#s strategic goals and plans; participates in executive strategic planning as requested at the system level. Develops and maintains relationships with academic institutions for the purposes of education, business and research collaboration. Maintains professional growth and development to keep abreast of Physician/Provider practice management. Ensures Clinical adherence to organizational accreditations and surveys and advises on pathways to meet clinical objectives while remaining compliant with patient safety standards of care. #

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
