Manufacturing Engineer II

Job Duties::
As an Engineer, Manufacturing II working on the OSTA engineering team, you will be empowered and inspired to do your best work. You will contribute to our mission by supporting operations with existing and new products and processes. A typical day for you will include:
Coordinating new product manufacturability and launch into production Optimization of processes for manufacture and product flow.
Validating of equipment and processes as required.
Developing capacity planning and facilities layout for equipment moves and additions.
Coordinating operator training for new and existing processes, products, and equipment.
Coordinating and utilizing external resources such as vendors and sister sites to resolve technical issues or improve processes or products.
Assessesing process capabilities, prioritizes process improvement opportunities, and innovates and implements process improvements on multiple and moderately complex processes.
Applying technical knowledge to innovate, design, and develop processes, procedures, tooling and/or automation related to existing production lines and technologies.
Collaborating with Production Technology Engineers on production technology improvement projects.
Conducting time studies to verify or establish process specifications.
Supporting operations and new product development teams.
Executing cost improvement activities.
Production line support including but not limited to implementing process improvements, troubleshooting equipment, addressing process questions, setting up kanbans, and capacity planning.
Writing and executing process and equipment validations (IQ, OQ, PQ).
Reviewing prints for new and existing products to determine accuracy and manufacturability.
Performing all other essential duties as assigned.

Job Requirements::
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor?s Degree in science or engineering discipline.
Minimum of 3 years experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Applied experience of LEAN and Six Sigma tools and methods.
Ability to work well in a team environment.
Technical writing skills are necessary.
Experience with FMEAs and Design of Experiments.
Time management skills allowing for working on multiple projects at once.
Equipment design and build is a plus.
CAD experience (Solidworks) is a plus.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
